EME on TV!!
« on: April 23, 2011, 08:08:24 AM »
Hi all,
last weekend i had a german TV station at my home in Germany! They were making a documentation about Earth-Moon-Earth communication in accordance to the "World Amateur Radio Day" on 18th April!
Due to bad conditions and phase shifting this day an arranged Sked with RAST Official Swen, HS0ZFZ, was not successfully. So we were switching to an EME DX-pedition from PA-amateurs who were activating Bonnaire (PJ4) and Curacao (PJ2) this time via 144 MHz EME.

Here is the Link to the TVspot (sorry, in german language!)

Hi Helmut,

thank you to Nong Khai! I am not sure if we had QSO during my stay last year in Thailand? I think you were asking me about Coaxial cable?
This time i was only QRV on VHF and did transmit on HF Bands only as a beacon in WSPR mode with an Inverted V antenna for 40m!! But no QSO!
Only a short Voice check with Manfred, HS0ZEU!
Next time, if have time will do some experiments with Beverages and/or verticals with helium baloon on 160m!!
Normal HF bands not interested in, HI!!!

Greetings from sunny Flensburg
