Yaesu Repairs in Thailand - Bangkok
« on: July 28, 2008, 09:04:41 AM »
Hello there one and all...

I was down in Ban Mo last week looking for a place to get my VX-1r fixed. As it was a holiday weekend most places were closed.

Are there any Yaesu repair shops in BKK? and if there are where?

Regards and 73 to all

Dear Col,

Good Afternoon!

Well there is no official Yaesu Service Dealer available in HS. Maybe some shop can repair the VHF stuff but only that .... no HF Services ....

In the past HS1 (Wellform) Radio Co., LTD. in the Makkasam Area close to the Bayoke Tower did the service for Yaesu but they stop it.
02-2473100  ask for Mr. Baipoon but he is not every time there .... he speaks english if he is not available then you can contact them only in thai. :(   But I'am not sure if they still have some parts available ...

HS1 Wellform Radio Co., LTD.
133/41-42 Ratchapharop Rd. (close to the post office)
10400 Bangkok

By the way this shop supplies the biggest range of cross-needle SWR meters for HF / VHF / UHF ...

Actually Mr. Paiboon (not Baipoon).

I just call my friend (working in General Comtech Co., Ltd.) but unfortunately, there's no Yaesu dealer do service for those model.

If you can find technician to find problem, you might need to order part from Hongkong or Singapore. Frieght cost is not cheap, we better find allied and make a big lot to share frieght cost as well.

I need spare parts for 2 Yaesu mobile radios too.
I love Thammasat because Thammasat teaches me to love people.
