Hi Roy,
it's all a bit up in the air (pun intended) at the moment, reports are that some inbound flights are landing in places like Singapore and Malaysia etc. and then using buses and ferries etc. in order to get travellers to the country. I have a friend down in Phuket at present that was due to land in BKK last Thursday, he eventually arrived in Thailand on saturday (yesterday). Nathan's link above is a good resource to keep an eye on, hopefully it won't be too much longer before the airports are back under proper control and the country can return to semi-normality ;)

Hope to see you soon, 73's for now.

Getting into Bangkok by air is impossible at the moment and, if the 'Yellow Shirts'  left Suvarnabhumi this afternoon, it would be at least one week before the airport could be re-certified safe to ICAO standards for international operations. Alternate routes are just too much hassle. Unless you absolutely have to get to Bangkok, wait a month or two. This, too, shall pass.  ::)

Great callsign.

Will you stay long or just a holiday trip?
Just re-reading some forum posts it seems things have changed since your post in 2008!
