HS0ZIS station

Hi all,
well after several weeks of waiting I finally have a simple 2 metre station set up at my home QTH. I just wanted to share some of the details with you so that you new members can see some of the components and get an idea of the prices involved:

Core radio: Icom 2200T purchased for 8,700 baht from the Radio shop in Sri Racha.
PSU: I wanted a 20 Amp supply but the shop in Thepprasit road here in Pattaya only had 30 Amp supplies (shame), which I got for a very reasonable 2,700 baht!!
SWR/Power meter: A Kaiwa SX-400 200 watt combined SWR and PWR meter, it's a copy apparently which cost 1,700 baht from the Sri Racha shop, the non-copy was about 800-900 baht more.

I'm currently running the station with a Kenji mag-mounted centre-loaded whip antenna sat on top of the nearest aircon compressor just outside the shack window, not the best antenna configuration but hey, it works well for local QSO's

I hope you enjoy the pictures (below), feel free to ask any questions etc.

73's for now,
Dave
