Title: Antennas in Pattaya
Post by: M3KIS on September 26, 2011, 06:02:03 AM
I did a search on this forum and saw mention of a HAM shop in Pattaya.
Does anyone know where this shop is please, as I would like to buy an antenna and hate traveling to Bangkok.

No, I need to get my full UK License before I can apply. But till then I can carry on my hobby of SWL. In the UK have a long wire which works great but do not have the room here so I need a straight vertical ant. to put on the roof.

Chris,

Well the are ARRL (US) exams quite frequently - monthly here in HS (Thailand). If
you passed the extra class with ARRL then you could get your upgrade back in UK ... Well
And then you would be able to be QRV here in HS.

Info's via www.e21eic.net

Hope you will find your way to upgrade ...

Hi Chris,
there is a ham radio shop on Soi Khao Noi just off Sukhumvit Road about 4 streets south of Pattaya Klang on the opposite side of the road. Next time you are in pattaya maybe I can show you.

Hi Chris. I come down to Pattaya some weekends. Would be nice to meet up with you.
I live in Suphan Buri about 4 hours drive from Pattaya. I may be in town on the 23rd this month as I'm attending a Thai wedding.

Regards.
