If you are a citizen of one of these countries, and you are planning to live and/or work in Thailand, or if your business takes you there regularly, you can apply for a reciprocal operating licence. You have to be licensed in your home country then you may be able to obtain a Thai licence and call sign providing equivalent privileges, depending on the particular agreement. A reciprocal licensee is normally issued with a call sign out of the series HS0Zxx  , the license expires after five years but is renewable.

Hi there many thanks for the information. I now have a copy of the application form to join the club but one thig is that i don't have an address yet as i will be staing in a hotel for upto two weeks . in this time I will be finding a home to rent. I guess it may be better to wait untill I get a home or can I send the form in without an address on it?

Kind Regards.

Hello,

Happy New Year to all.

Today, January 2nd, the french Embassy has announced great news: the radio reciprocal agreement      between France and Thailand has been ratified by the Thai government in early December 2011.
After seven years of waiting, the French hams are finally allowed issuing from the land of smile.
See you on the air !

Happy New Year 2012!

That looks like you got a perfect New Year's present!

Well we still have to wait for the official documentation and the 60 days waiting period until the reciprocal agreement is ratified by both sides.

Hi all. I have been out of it for some time and just getting the time to look at this again.
I would like to apply for a reciprocal licence ( again) Has anything changed?

I'm from the UK (G0MIH) and working in Suphan Buri.

Would be nice to get this sorted out so I can get on the air.

Dear OM Paul,

Well I just wonder why you want to apply again?
If you already have a callsign then you probably should renew it if expired!

If do not download the forms and folliw the list with needed doc's for application!

Hello  !!   bonjour a tous.

Hi there. Paul here HS0ZLQ.
I have been looking for the import license form as I would like to bring my TS830 and speaker and tuning unit over from the UK. I have tried using the link but it seems not to be working.
Can you please send me a copy of the form so I can start filling it in.

Kind regards.

Paul HS0ZLQ/G0MIH.
