When I bought a transceiver I had to register its new ownership with the NTC. When selling equipment is any paperwork needed, if so what? Thanks Robin.

Please visit the RAST booth at NBTC amateur radio exhibition on Saturday

Dear Member or Friend of RAST,

This is first to inform you that there will be no RAST meeting on Sunday, December 3, the first Sunday of next month,  this year.

Instead, all members are invited to visit the RAST booth at an amateur radio exhibition on Saturday, December 2 which is being organised by the Thai regulator, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), in the grounds of its Secretariat on Soi Sailom, Phaholyothin Soi 8.

The Radio Amateur Society of Thailand will have a large booth at the exhibition, food will be available all day and there will also be souvenirs on hand at the booth.

RAST will also be setting up demonstration amateur radio stations on HF, VHF and for satellite amateur radio communications at the exhibition. All members are encouraged to visit the booth at the show, where equipment will also be on sale and there will be an opportunity to meet other radio amateurs. The exhibition begins at 8.30 a.m. and will continue until 9 p.m.

The easiest way to get there would be to take the Skytrain to the BTS Ari station and then to take a taxi (or to walk) for the final 800 metres to the NBTC grounds, inside Phaholyothin Soi 8 (on the opposite side of Phaholyothin Road from the usual RAST meeting place at Sena Place Hotel in Soi 11). The NBTC Secretariat is located 400 metres inside Soi 8 on the left-hand side. (For GPS users, the location is 13.783 N, 100.550E)

(The next RAST meeting will be on January 14, 2018, the second Sunday of January,  when there will be a New Year Party at Rot Meu Mae restaurant in Nonthaburi. The New Year party will begin at 3 p.m.)

Hi !

Like QRP, running ny Yaesu FT817ND most of my time. For the moment I only have my folded dipole in the backyard abt 4 meters over ground, with the main lobe in NW/SE direction. But it works quite satisfactory...Have a permit for a mast but don't know when and if I will erect it... :)  Will be in Thailand november-april.

Hi all. Do we have all the band on 80 meters now 3.5 to 3.6????
If so I'm going to start using it as the noise level here it not to bad.
I have been working on my antenna here and it looks like I can get it work at 80 to 30 meters now.
